AuviTran

AuviTran, formed in March 2003, aims to design and manufacture innovative professional audio networking solutions and products. AuviTran is well known today as a provider of EtherSound OEM cards to Professional Audio Manufacturers. AuviTran acts also as software provider and as a manufacturer of EtherSound products through a world wide distribution network. AuviTran has been heavily involved in OEM solutions development with major audio manufacturers over the last few years and is also focusing now on implementing Klark Teknik's SuperMAC technology to provide OEM AES50 solutions. AuviTran expects AES50 to be part of its business over the coming years and will be providing dual-boot capability (AES50 and ES100 EtherSound) to its AVDM, AVD and CM-2 format OEM modules.

ZP Engineering

ZP Engineering is a design house focusing on digital audio products, founded in 1998 by Patrizio Pisani and Umberto Zanghieri after several years of development activities in the Farfisa R&D centre dedicated to ASIC design. ZP design capabilities include DSP and FPGA development, complete embedded systems and high-performance conversion stages. Current focus is on fixed-point and floating-point audio processing, high-quality digital audio transmission over Cat 5 and coax, connectivity to computers (USB, IEEE-1394, Ethernet), embedded Linux development and high-performance A/D and D/A conversion. In each design, special care is given to system details and definitions, in order to match technical specifications to product requirements. The company's commitment to digital audio is also enhanced by its involvement with several working groups within the Audio Engineering Society. Manufacturing capabilities and a range of OEM modules dedicated to audio connectivity complete the range of options. The picoDM module family already offers IEEE-1394 and USB connectivity, and a new version dedicated to AES50 will be presented, enabling the integration of AES50 within a compact form-factor.
